Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No, this is a no pet property

Q: How do I make a reservation?

A: You can make a reservation on-line on this secure website or you can call 800-691-3999.

Q: Will I have to pay anything to make a reservation?

A: Your credit card will be charged $100.00 for the reservation fee. This amount will be applied to your total reservation cost. The balance will be due on the day of your arrival.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel: 60+ days prior to first day of reservation: No Charge
Cancel: 30-59 days prior to first day of reservation: $100.00 Reservation Fee
Cancel: 15-29 days prior to first day of reservation: $100.00 Reservation Fee and One Night’s Stay
Cancel: 0-14 days prior to first day of reservation: One-half of total Reservation Cost or One Night Lodging –
whichever is greater
Cancel: NO SHOW, NO NOTIFICATION: Full Reservation Cost
Q: Is smoking allowed?

A: No, smoking is not allowed in any of the units. Units 1A-5B have cigarette urns outside for outside smoking. Please note: Marijuana is not allowed on any of the Grand West Village Resort Properties.

Q: What do the units include?

A: All units have high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, washers and dryers (Lackawanna 1A shares with Lackawanna 1B and Lackawanna 1C shares with Lackawanna 1D). All kitchens are fully equipped with cooking utensils, plates, cups, silverware, serving dishes, etc.; and all bed linens and towels are provided.

Q: Is there a handicapped accessible unit?

A: Yes, Lackawanna 1A is handicapped accessible.

Q: Can I have an open fire?

A: No, outdoor fires are not allowed on the properties. Most units have gas fireplaces. For cooking, there are two outdoor grills in the common area. The August House 7A, Log Cabin 8A, and Woodrose 9A have their own gas grills.

Q: What are check-in/checkout times?

A: Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and checkout time is 10:00 a.m.

Q: What should I bring to make my stay more enjoyable?

A: Any snacks, drinks and groceries you will need for cooking, including spices and cooking oils, paper plates and cups (if you would like to eat outside). You will find salt and pepper in the units. All units have a starter supply of paper towels, napkins and toilet paper. If you have an extended stay, you may need to replenish these supplies on your own. You may want to bring laundry soap and dryer sheets if you anticipate doing laundry while you are here.

Q: Can I purchase groceries and souvenirs in Leadville?

A: Yes, the Safeway Store is about 5 minutes away, as well as Family Dollar and Shopko for groceries. Many downtown stores sell souvenirs and clothing to take home.

Q: What are my responsibilities when I leave the unit to return home?

A: We only ask that you gather the trash and place it all in the dumpster (located on the premises) and that you place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on before you check-out.
